Heaton started manufacturing valves in Halifax, England, in 1943. Since then, the Heaton name has been synonymous in many countries, with hundreds of thousands of valves delivered worldwide in operation until today.
Heaton’s design philosophy is to manufacture valves that not only perform but also have a long service life to lower the total cost of ownership. Design features are included in each valve to protect their internal components, enhance service life, provide ease of maintenance and reduce energy consumption. These factors all play an important part in the design of high performance valves.
Over the years, Heaton has developed a range of comprehensive programs that calculates valve torques accurately, optimizes actuator selections - including pneumatic, hydraulic, electric actuators, and other useful tools for precise engineering calculations. These programs are part of our value added services that allow Heaton to work with end users and EPCs to plan ahead on their projects and minimize their future cost of ownership.
Heaton has through the many years of experience acquired a wealth of valve application knowledge that allows us to provide solutions to end users and contractors to solve their most complicated flow control problems. This knowledge is also used to design new valves or improve existing ones to handle difficult applications as the market requirement changes.
